At Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell, we are passionate about supporting our customers with their model research. We are committed to helping you make a selection that delivers pure enjoyment for years to come. What will you discover when you compare the EQS Sedan to the S-Class?

Performance

There are two available powertrain systems available for the 2022 EQS Sedan. The base trim level has a single-engine design with 329 horsepower. This is a rear-wheel drive vehicle with a range of 350 miles. A dual-engine design is also available, and it has an output of 516 horsepower. With 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, it has a range of 422 miles. On the other hand, the S-Class sedan also has two powertrain options available. A 3.0-liter turbo inline-six gas engine is standard, and it offers 429 horsepower. The top trim level receives 496 horsepower from its 4.0-liter turbo V8 gas engine.

Appearance

With individualized styling, these four-door sedans are easy to differentiate on the road. The EQS Sedan has a swooping profile that sharply tapers into a rounded nose. The nose has a standout look with a glossy black grille. This grille angles into wedge-shaped LED headlights. Chrome accentuates all sides of the EQS Sedan. The smooth hood and sides show off only the hint of subtle accentuation. The 2022 S-Class, on the other hand, has a stretched profile with a decadent angle through the hood. The nose reflects a classic Mercedes-Benz design with horizontal accent bars. The headlights have a regal quality with a slender, angled shape and an LED accent bar. Throughout the sides, you will find chrome accents and precision-sculpted contouring.

Features

Inside the EQS Sedan, you can enjoy the new Hyperscreen, which stretches across the length of the dashboard and includes a 12.3-inch digital display screen for the driver’s instruments, a 12.8-inch screen for the MBUX infotainment system, and another display screen for the passenger’s entertainment feature. Additional features are a power trunk lid, wireless Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, a panoramic glass roof, forward collision mitigation, leather material, and more. The S-Class sedan has separated display screens for the digital instrumentation panel and the MBUX infotainment system. This model also has soft-close doors, a panoramic sunroof, a power trunk lid, wireless smart device integration, a wireless charging pad, and other equipment.
