Across its four trim levels, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC is available with three powertrain systems. The entry-level trim is loaded with a 255-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder engine and nine-speed auto transmission. The GLC's mid-level trims offer a 385-horsepower turbo V6 engine with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. The top options draw 469 horsepower from a turbo V8 engine. The GLE, on the other hand, is offered with the same 255-horsepower engine and four additional engines. The most powerful engine offered in the GLE’s top trim level is a 603-horsepower turbo V8 system.
Appearance
These lovely Mercedes-Benz crossovers are visually distinctive. While both have a spirited, confident profile, the GLC is a smaller vehicle with a more aggressive definition through its side panels. A wide grille also defines the GLC with vertical chrome bars. The headlights are almost completely encapsulated by an LED light bar. The GLE, on the other hand, has smoother sides with a crisp, lower-body accent on the door panels. The grille has a vertical bar design and sits over a large, well-defined bumper. The headlights have a pair of hook-like LED elements for distinction.
Features
