 What's New for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

The luxurious Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan turns a page in 2024 with the launch of its sixth generation. This popular model boasts a full refresh across the exterior and interior, introducing updated powertrains and a few new features. The exterior has an elegant, modern design with decadent curvature throughout the profile and sweeping contouring along the sides. The length of the hood is moderated by its careful slope. At the front, you will find a chrome-outlined grille with stardust mesh. The dual-elemental LED headlights run dramatically upward, and the bumper has a barbell-style look.

Inside, the updated cabin design includes an all-new Superscreen. This wide-screen encompasses the passenger's new infotainment and large central display screens. A few third-party apps are now available, including Angry Birds, TikTok and Zoom. In front of the driver, the digital gauges are mounted on an elevated display screen. Multi-color ambient lighting runs throughout the cabin. A new camera is also mounted in front of the driver for video calls and selfies. Notably, the interior dimensions are larger and support more passenger seating space. Other cabin features are augmented reality navigation, an updated navigation system, high-quality leather upholstery, heated seats, artificial intelligence to manage driver's settings, attention assist, traffic jam assist, lane centering with active steering, and more.

The two available powertrains for the 2024 Mercedes E-Class have been hybridized to deliver more horsepower while improving fuel economy. They are both designed with a 23-horsepower electric motor and an integrated starter generator. The E 350 trim level pairs this equipment with a 2.0-liter turbo inline-four engine to generate 295 horsepower. The E 450 features a turbo 3.0-liter, inline-six engine that gives you 375 total horsepower. Both engines include 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, a nine-speed auto transmission, load-leveling adaptive dampers, a multi-link or air suspension system, and rear-wheel steering.
