What's New for the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?
The luxurious Mercedes-Benz C-Class launched its fifth generation in 2022 with substantial updates from end to end, and it continues to evolve in the 2023 model year. This popular sedan is also available in a coupe and a convertible. For 2023, the AMG® C 43 is available for the first time for the sedan body style. This trim level stands apart with its 402-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine, and standard 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. It also has a sport-tuned suspension, adaptive dampers, and rear-axle steering. Optional equipment for this trim level includes track pace and high-performance steering. In addition, the coupe and convertible benefit from a return of the AMG® C 63 S trim level.
The style of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is unchanged. Its regal, modern look is brought to life by the athletic arch that rolls over the side doors and comparable definition swooping down the hood. At the front end, the vertical bars that run through the A-frame grille continue through the lower fascia. The prominent air vents have horizontal accents as contrast. Some exterior features that may be included with the C-Class for select trim levels are keyless entry, power-folding and heated side mirrors, a sunroof, a hands-free trunk, digital headlamps, carbon fiber trim, and a few additional features.
The new AMG® C 43 trim level adds a four-zone auto climate control system and performance seats to the interior. The other features offered across the C-Class's trim levels are unchanged. These could include simulated leather upholstery, a wireless internet hotspot, an 11.9-inch touch display screen, ambient lighting, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a premium sound system, a navigation system with an augmented reality overlay, a head-up display, and so much more. Likewise, the many safety technologies available in the 2023 C-Class are unchanged from the previous model year. These include an automated parking system, a 360-degree camera system, a safe exit assist system, a drowsy driver monitor, adaptive high beams, a blind-spot warning, forward collision sensing with mitigation, and other protective features.
