There are two powertrains available for the debut version of the EQS Sedan. One of these is a 329-net-horsepower electric engine that is linked with rear-wheel drive. The alternative is a 516-net-horsepower motor that is paired with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. Notably, the 2022 EQS Sedan is the first all-electric, long-range vehicle offered by Mercedes-Benz. Dependent on the motor that you select for your EQS Sedan, it will have a full-charge range between 420 and 484 miles.
While the 2022 EQS Sedan is comparable to the S-Class in terms of size, its interior is unabashedly unique. This model introduces Hyperscreen as a new feature, and it commands the cabin's design. This is because Hyperscreen is an 84-inch display screen that spans across the full length of the dashboard, and it holds screens for the passenger, the MBUX system in the center stack, and the driver's gauges. The MBUX system has smart device integration, wireless connectivity, and an all-new fingerprint scanner. The premium seats have massaging, cooling, and heating functions. This car also comes with an elite climate control system and the innovative Drive Pilot automated driving technologies.
The exterior design of the 2022 EQS Sedan is equally impressive. The nose is commanded by wedge-shaped LED headlights that are connected via a chrome bar. This bar spans across the top of the glossy-black grille. The EQS Sedan's façade is also defined by a low-profile roof, athletic ground clearance, and a prominent hood.
