Mercedes-Benz displays its passion for ingenuity through the next-generation 2022 C-Class. The fifth-generation C-Class displays brilliant design updates throughout. The redesigned look of this luxury sedan features an aerodynamic profile with a sloped hood and a swooping roofline. The front end has stunning LED headlights topped by an angled band of light. These diamond-like headlights flank a prominent grille with a dual-bar design and starburst-style mesh.
The interior of the C-Class displays wood and metallic trim with leather upholstery. The center console and stack flow fluidly with a low-profile design and a wood finish. This stack is topped by a trio of aeronautic-themed air vents and a floating display screen. A flat-bottom steering wheel and a digital driver’s gauge complete the interior design.
The C-Class’s fresh styling for 2022 is combined with the introduction of numerous features. For example, the interior has an updated MBUX infotainment system that offers faster processing and a fingerprint scanner for secure access. Different profiles for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also now included. In addition, the safety suite has been enhanced with damage detection technology. These features are combined with carryover features from the 2021 model year. These include a keyless ignition, heated seats, voice commands, ambient lighting, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision mitigation, a Burmester sound system, a surround-view camera, and a wireless charging pad.
The capabilities of the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class have also been updated with powerful results. This year’s C-Class adds mild-hybrid technology to its turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This elevates its horsepower output by 20 to deliver 255 total horsepower. This engine is paired with your rear-wheel drive or 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. A nine-speed auto transmission is standard.
