 What's New for the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLB?

The Mercedes-Benz GLB is a small crossover that takes its place in the lineup between the GLA and GLC. It stands out from other Mercedes-Benz crossovers with its boxy shape and distinctive nose design. In 2023, the GLB is a mid-generation version that introduces no changes. With its tall profile and thick, dark molding spanning the entire lower perimeter, the 2023 GLB has a rugged look. On the nose, both the wide grille and LED-bolstered headlights are rectangular with subtly rounded corners. The black grille features vertical bars and runs above a powerful black bumper. The exterior features available for the 2023 GLB vary across the three trim levels. They may include rain-sensing wipers, roof rails, heated side mirrors with auto-dimming and power-folding functions, a power liftgate, 18-inch or 19-inch wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.

Inside the two-row cabin, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLB has a modern, upscale design. It features the brand's signature aeronautical air vents along with a thick, metallic band crossing the dashboard and a continuous glass housing for the driver's digital gauges and the MBUX infotainment system. Its features are synthetic leather or authentic leather seats, power-adjusting and memory-controlled front seats, reclining and sliding rear seats, a dual-zone climate control system, touch-sensing buttons on the steering wheel, a touch controller pad, four USB-C ports, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto®, forward collision mitigation, customizable ambient lights, a household power outlet, a sport steering wheel, an augmented video navigation system, an optional third row, a premium sound system, a wireless charging pad, a head-up display, and others.

The features that are standard or available in the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLB continue with numerous safety technologies. These advanced features include evasive steering, a surround-view camera, automated parking, blind-spot intervention, lane keeping, lane departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, speed limit assistance, and several additional features.

If you drive the GLB 250 or the GLB 250 4MATIC®, your crossover SUV will receive 221 horsepower from a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine. The AMG® GLB 35 comes with a high-performance variation of this engine, and it benefits from 302 horsepower. The GLB 250 has front-wheel drive, and the other two trims have standard 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. Both engines pair with a dual-clutch, eight-speed automatic transmission.
